Company History

Consumer Eyes has been a leading global brand and innovation consultancy since 1991, founded on the vision that a great idea – whether you're looking to fill a new product pipeline or reinvent a brand – is something you can build. Creativity, hard work and a clear-eyed view of the evolving consumer landscape trumps waiting for inspiration to strike.

Over the years, this action-oriented approach has helped us create numerous successful new products and services across a wide range of categories for some of the most important Fortune 500 companies. But we've never rested on our laurels... we're always on the lookout for new ways to innovate.

In 1998, we created the Consumer Immersion process, believing the most forward-thinking insights are those informed by a variety of viewpoints, experiences and real-world consumer interactions.

In 2007, our book Karma Queens, Geek Gods & Innerpreneurs, an exploration of 9 key consumer types (C-Types), was published by McGraw-Hill. Our C-Types are valuable tools for jumpstarting marketing strategy and spurring innovation across brands and categories.

In 2009, we created LiveLogging, an anywhere and everywhere insight-gathering tool that allows us to stretch consumer interactions over days and weeks, not mere hours. LiveLogging leverages the ever-expanding array of digital technologies reshaping consumers' daily lives.

To celebrate our twentieth year in business, Consumer Eyes is now embarking on an exciting new venture. With our Eyes on the Road program we're initiating a series of roadtrips to various hotspots and trend-forward locations around the country to help us bring the American consumer circa 2011 into 20/20 focus. Check out our EyeSightings blog to find out where we've been and where we're heading next!
